poeticwun tells us in the Touch Pro2 Forums about this great app called WiFi Remote Access that allows you to explore the content of your Windows Mobile Phone through the browser on your PC over WiFI. It’s super easy to use and can come in real handy in a pinch.
For example, say you’re at a friends house and want to transfer a file to them but you can’t transfer it the usual way. Just fire up WiFi Remote Access up and get to business. Keep reading for a mini-review and some features.
The update for our Touch Pro2’s has been out for a few weeks. I get a lot of emails asking how to upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5. This post will walk you through how to upgrade your Touch Pro2 to Windows Mobile 6.5. Keep reading for the full tutorial.
Update: This cab isn’t working with the Official T-Mo WM 6.5 ROM that was recently released.
The Touch Pro2 does come with a FM Radio that for some reason T-Mobile forgot to include in the TMO ROM. You will need your earphones for it to work because they act as the antenna. Right now I’m listening to some cool jazz on 91.5 in Phoenix.
It does support playing music through the high quality speaker. Just tap the button above the ‘1’ preset. You can also switch back forth from stereo to mono, mute, scan, and more. To get your radio going download and install the HTC_FM_Radio.cab on your Touch Pro2. Enjoy!
Being able to access network folders on windows mobile will enable you to play video and music from your PC and much more. You will need Schaps Network Plugin. Download the .cab and install it to your Touch Pro2 (or Shadow, Dash, etc). You will need to restart your device and be connected over WiFi to the same network that the folder you want to connect to is on. Keep reading to find out the details. More >

I’m installing this great piece of software now so next week I can give you a full run down and review so stay tuned! GPS Tuner is one of those highly developed applications that makes the Windows Mobile platform strong.
“GPS Tuner today announced the latest generation of its off-road navigation software, developed specially
for mobile devices. GPS Tuner Atlas is a must-have for anyone who seeks a flexible off-road navigation
solution for geocaching, biking, touring, extreme sports, and hunting or as part of their dayto-
day off-road professional activities.”
We already knew it was coming on the 12th of August, but hearing it from T-Mo themselves is just a little reassurance. In case you haven’t heard, this baby is packing a 3.6” touch screen, tilting slide out QWERTY keyboard, Windows Mobile 6.1 with the Touch Flow 3D interface, 3.2 megapixel camera (my favorite), and a bunch of other cool features which can be seen here.
Mark you calenders for August 12th! T-Mobile will be the first U.S carrier to launch the TP2, so this is a big deal.
