Think of it as GPS, Google Earth and more on your Windows Mobile Pro phone (like the Touch Pro 2). Recently, Tamas Frigyes, CEO of GPS Tuner, sent us the corresponding press release for this exciting announcement. There is even a PC side application to help you manage your maps and locations. Loading ...T-Mobile Announces August 12 Release Date for Touch Pro 2

We already knew it was coming on the 12th of August, but hearing it from T-Mo themselves is just a little reassurance. In case you haven’t heard, this baby is packing a 3.6” touch screen, tilting slide out QWERTY keyboard, Windows Mobile 6.1 with the Touch Flow 3D interface, 3.2 megapixel camera (my favorite), and a bunch of other cool features which can be seen here.
Mark you calenders for August 12th! T-Mobile will be the first U.S carrier to launch the TP2, so this is a big deal.

That’s what T-Mo is tweeting about today. If you didn’t believe the TP2 was really coming to our favorite cell carrier, you have no more reason to doubt. In case you missed it, here’s the full spec sheet.

Android and Windows Mobile rumors today: Android Fans can rejoice that the Magic (G2) could be coming sooner than expected. Windows Mobile fans can get excited that there is a possibility for special Upgrade pricing for the new Wing 2/Touch Pro2/Rhodium. What this entails exactly is still unknown as it just comes in as an offhand tip.
