Hey all you guys and girls. Sorry we haven’t posted any new stories recently. I’ve been real busy lately, Mike is away for a couple weeks, and the rest of the guys…well I have no idea what they’re doing.
Were working on getting more news, and how to’s (haha, that rhymes) up for you guys, but things are just going a little slow right now. You can expect to see a lot more action on AllShadow when the TP2 and myTouch are released in the very near future.
I’ll catch you up on some news… More >
With all the news buzzing this morning on the announcement of the HTC Hero, Coming to T-Mo UK as the G1 Touch, there was bound to be rumors flying all over. Including a debunked one about the beautiful interface coming to Windows Mobile. The most interesting though, is that BGR and Pocket-lint are reporting that HTC CEO, Peter Chou, confirmed that “HTC sense will be available on some other existing devices.” With the only other HTC Android devices out being the HTC Magic/MyTouch and the G1, Things are looking pretty good for us. I must say this would be a wonderful thing, rather than going though the painful modding and hacking to use the incredibly unstable “Rosie“. Lets just hope T-Mobile lets it happen.
Well Android users, Android 1.5 aka Cupcake is finally here… Actually its been out for a couple months. The genius developers over at XDA have been hard at work for some time now getting stable versions of 1.5 to us long before T-Mobile. Read on for a brief summary of the Haykuro versions and a little about them, their growth, and where to get it. More >
From T-Mobile’s Website:
We’d like to provide an update on the rollout of Android 1.5 for T-Mobile G1 customers.
We are working diligently to get Android 1.5 out as soon as possible, while aiming to ensure a consistent, positive experience for our customers. We’re finalizing the build this week to ensure optimal functionality and smooth delivery. Therefore, the rollout schedule has been reset by approximately a week, and we expect all G1 customers will have the update by early June.
Your device will notify you when the update is available. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
I feel your frustrations! I’m just going to stop talking about Cupcake until it’s on my phone. Enjoy!
