Motorola Morrison with T-Mobile 3G Bands Passes FCC
Jul 29th

The First Android powered Motorola phone is coming to T-Mobile U.S.A. Yeah, I’m talking about that ugly blue thing. The specs are decent enough, all the stuff a smartphone being released in 2009 should have. And again, it’s mad by Motorola, so don’t get too excited.
- Tri band WCDMA/ HSDPA/ HSUPA 900/1700/2100
- Quad band GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900
- WiFi
- HandsFree Speaker
- Photo and video Camera
- Video Player
- Stereo Bluetooth
- Music Player
- HTML Browser
- Android OS.
No word on pricing, release date, or alternative colors yet. Though if you really wanted, you could just paint it.
T-Mobile’s G2 Coming, Hello Cupcake
Mar 27th
The G2, aka HTC Magic, is making it’s rounds now sporting the T-Mobile USA logo. This is HTC’s newest answer to Nature’s call for more convergence. According to CPS and the white papers it is the first to sport both T-Mobile’s 3G and UMA. So we can have the best of both worlds! Of course it doesn’t have a physical keyboard which means it will have an on-screen keyboard. The on-screen keyboard is supposed to be a part of Cupcake (Android 2.0). The FCC docs have a confidentiality release date of June 15th, 2009 on the in-depth documents which may hint at it’s release date.
