poeticwun tells us in the Touch Pro2 Forums about this great app called WiFi Remote Access that allows you to explore the content of your Windows Mobile Phone through the browser on your PC over WiFI. It’s super easy to use and can come in real handy in a pinch.
For example, say you’re at a friends house and want to transfer a file to them but you can’t transfer it the usual way. Just fire up WiFi Remote Access up and get to business. Keep reading for a mini-review and some features.

Being able to access network folders on windows mobile will enable you to play video and music from your PC and much more. You will need Schaps Network Plugin. Download the .cab and install it to your Touch Pro2 (or Shadow, Dash, etc). Some of the apps in the Android Market ask for Root Access on the G1. How do you get it? There are also custom ROMs for Android that require root access first. Many believe these to be worth it. Especially if you want to install some of the sick themes hanging out in the wiki. If you just want to get to the root of the issue…check out the page in the wiki. Be warned, only you are responsible for messing up your phone. So if you don’t understand what’s going on in the tutorial it is advisable that you gather more information.
