Thanks to the AllShadow Community! If it wasn’t for the Contributors in the Forum this post wouldn’t be possible!

For new Shadow owners, or those that don’t want to mess with the registry, this file will provide some basic performance enhancements. After installation you will notice that your Shadow is running more to your liking. Be sure to check back now and then as updates will happen.

Enhancements/Changes this file makes to the Shadow are:

• Application Unlock – enables certain programs to fully operate (i.e. Google Maps ‘My Location’ feature)
• SMS Sent Notification turned off – gets rid of that annoying Message Sent notification you get when sending texts
• Disabled Neo Interface Windows Media Player (WMP) – this does not remove WMP from your phone or make it unusable, it only turns off the ‘pane’ in the Neo interface. This specific pane uses a lot of memory and slows your phone down. You can still use Windows Media Player from the Start menu
• Slimmer Scrollbars – slimmer scroll bars means more screen Real Estate
• Larger Glyph Cache – speeds up graphics
• Enable Clear type – smoother fonts

To Install:

• Download AllShadow.com Performance Enhancements v1.0 to your computer and then transfer to your phone.
• Go to Start > File Explorer > and navigate to where you downloaded the file and run it (highlight and press center select)
• After Installation turn your phone off, remove the battery for 30 seconds (to be sure) then turn the Shadow back on.

AllShadow Community Veterans: If you feel there is something I should add to this that most people will enjoy please post in the comments (a link to the forum post describing the addition would suffice as well). The main purpose of this is to allow as many people as possible to add the changes we enjoy through registry editing without having to edit the registry.

Throw down your suggestions! When we get enough for another release I'll throw up a poll so we can vote on what should be added.

most all reg edits from 6.0 will work on 6.1 its just the home screen (neo) reg hacks wont function since neo is not on 6.1.. but that will change soon.

is removing WMP the same as doing it with the neo order thing that allows you to customize the icons on the homescreen?

Is there anyway we can get the seperate Cab files for these? i dont want all those improvements it would be greatly appreciated thanks

Hey, I just wanted to add somethings for your next performance update.

1. Can you please make make it so the brightness can be changed, it is just to bright in a dark room or when u need to check your phone before bed.
2. The video sucks on the shadow is there any thing u can do about that or is that a hardware issue.
