From the Ask Mike Files:

Awhile ago we established the Ask Mike page so people could write in and ask questions. After the forums were well established we changed it to the Submit News page. It is still used for both submitting news and asking questions. There are no dumb questions but of course feel free to search the forums or our wiki and you might find the answer you seek. Remember we all started off with no information at some time. Below are some recent questions that we’ve received that might help you or a friend.

Shadow WM 6.5

Isaac wrote in awhile ago to remind us that agoetz has been working on the WM 6.5 ROM for the Shadow and if you are willing to go and try it out. If you’re tired of the old WM 6.1 then you should try out a new ROM. You will have to go to our forums to find it but it’s there! Enjoy!

SD or SDHC?

Sandisk established the SDHC format so they could cram even more GB of storage space onto the already small memory cards. Most phones today use the microSDHC card. As you might have noticed, the packaging on many phones mights say 4GB or 8GB max. Here’s the deal. Nearly ANY phone that supports the SDHC format will support a memory card up to 32GB. All the Shadow phones support SDHC, as does any T-Mobile smartphone released in the last several years. My old Wing, Dash and even Wizard support the SDHC format. So feel free to buy that 8GB, 16GB (or 32GB when it comes out) microSDHC memory cards.

MyPhone for Windows Mobile

A lot of people have written in about Microsoft’s MyPhone service (which is FREE). Among it’s many features are automatic syncing and backing up of your phone’s content (protected site of course), Social Networking integration, FIND your LOST phone, and accessing your contacts, text messages and more all online! If you don’t have installed yet you can check it out at the MyPhone website.
