Note: Until it’s announced officially all of these are rumors.

‘The Wait For the Great Update’ – The Windows Mobile/Pocket PC world has been waiting well over 5 years for a groundbreaking update to the powerful operating system. In the meantime Microsoft has been passed up in the powerhouse category by Apple and then Google, not forgetting Blackberry’s own hold on business. Even Palm launched a redesign! So what is taking so long? Poor project management and not listening to customers. Well, Microsoft has said this will change and will never happen again.

In this post we will outline the current rumors and comment on their likelihood as well as how bad we want that particular change. Since these are rumors, chances are most of them will be something we want (hint hint @ Microsoft).
