There is a lot of commotion going around about the Nexus One. Who would have thought all those years ago that a search engine would be releasing their own phone? Chuong tells us it has passed through the FCC with support for T-Mobile’s 3G network and no sign of support for the AT&T bands so More >

Dom2684 has put together a concise tutorial in the Android Forums on how to create more ‘internal memory’ for Android Apps on your G1, myTouch and other Android phones. I work at T-Mobile and its only been confirmed that the Cliq will definitely be upgraded to 2.1, but that announcement came direct from Motorola… there’s no definitive answer as to whether or not the other android devices will be upgraded… Hope this helps!

I just recieved an OTA update from tmobile for my MyTouch3G this morning. Prior to the update I had firmware 1.6 . After the update which seemed decently lengthy to install i still had 1.6 and didnt see any 2.0 noteworthy changes to my phone. Must have just been some sort of regular update =( So still waiting for 2.0 =(

we have a couple mytouch 3g, updated ver. 1.6 about 2 weeks ago, initial assessment was fine no real problems, recently both updated phones began malfunctioning. freezing, loosing home screen icons, not being able to send sms, answer, or make calls, apps crashing that proir did not, also the horizontle keyboard still glitches up, really hoping 2.0 or 2.1 to release ota, anybody else have problems with this 1.6 update?

4/10/10 and still no update for my T-Mobile mytouch 3G. I’m running 1.6 right now. Do I have to do something to go and get it? I’d love it if this update added more than 3 homescreens. Any word on that or any apps you would recommend?
Thanks, and let me know if there is somewhere I can go to download it.
