First App to Install: SkyFire 1.1, Now Available

Windows Mobile users have a blessing that goes by the name of SkyFire. With version 1.1 now available, you can enjoy an even more seamless transition to the web. For those of you that don’t know, SkyFire brings the entire web to your phone in a fully featured browser that works with Flash, Silverlight and more. It uses server side rendering to bring full web pages to your device faster and with less bandwidth. It is the first app I install on any Windows Mobile phone I pick up. It works for touchscreen and non-touchscreen phones. If you want to know more about it check out the video above or install the newest version from get.skyfire.com. You can also install directly to your phone from the same address.
