a guy at the t-mobile store by me has one. all i can say is WOW. the pics of it don’t do it justice. very nice piece of hardware.
I am so sick of hearing about this phone. Six months ago I was on the wagon excited like everyone else. I am a hardcore winmo fan but this just doesn’t have anything special for me now. If it had WM7 I might look twice again but I think I am jumping ship for Android…just not MyTouch or G1.
Close your eyes and imagine this phone in standard HTC black and with Android Sense. Sigh… doesn’t that warm your heart?
I would love this mobile if it had Android OS on it.
Microsoft WinMo dept needs to fire all their old folks…
If Microsoft created a “WinMo app store” to easily download apps, and made WinMo OS that easily installs the apps (like on iPhone OS and Android OS) then maybe Microsoft could capture more market share. Right now WinMo developers don’t have it easy to make easy $$$ on all their hard work, so they left for iPhone app store where everything is organized, and the royalty paychecks are being sent…
Who wants a new Mobile in 2009 and have to deal with having to know where to drop .cab files, etc. everytime they install a new app? Someone at Microsoft thinks we all still live in a DOS(caveman) world…
Buying a WinMo mobile now would be like buying a NEW computer with “Windows 98″ on it. Sure it WAS a great OS, but sometimes you need to move on…
Oh and those old apps for WinMo are a bit stale. Microsoft needs to revamp WinMo in a big way, create that WinMo app store, and PAY developers in advance to create some fresh apps, otherwise WinMo will go down like IBM did… Was on top, and thought their name alone would carry them into eternity.
Right now anyone buying WinMo must need it for outlook or exchange, and that is being changed by iPhone. Did you hear how easy it is to setup exchange on iPhone? Enter your email and password. DONE! No more entering server pop and smtp, authorization, blah blah blah. Leave it to Apple to do what Microsoft should have done a long time ago.
Don’t get me wrong I want WinMo to succeed, but everyday someone else is keeping it fresh, when Microsoft had the $ to do it all in the first place…
