We’re Back!
Well, it’s Monday again, and were back to bring you some T-Mo smartphone news.
We’ll start with some bad news first. The Sense UI upgrade that was supposedly coming to “existing HTC Android devices”, isn’t. The new version of Android will not be coming to any Google branded HTC devices, which means no G1 or myTouch 3G. It’s a bummer, but we’ll find a way to get Sense UI on our “with Google” branded phones anyway. Some good news is that the Sense UI will be coming to Windows Mobile phones in one form or another. When asked if the new Sense UI would be coming to Windows Mobile phones, HTC responded:
“The Hero UI has been created specifically for HTC’s Android-based phones but also represents that three core pillars of HTC Sense. HTC’s future Windows Mobile phones will also be based on HTC Sense, but will enhance Windows Mobile in a way that is as appropriate and valuable to people.”

Mytouch makes me sad now. The merlot looks neat but it makes it look like a toy. I think I’ll suffer with my broken(just randomly quit one day) main speaker but newly upgraded to 6.1 shadow 2007 until the more adult looking Android devices come out.
can’t wait til tp2 comes out
my touch 3g will most likely be another failed device. no iphone killer here. windows mobile all the way. never though tmobile would get such a nice phone as the touch pro. i was starting to lose faith in magenta after we found out the 1st touch pro wasn’t going to be carried.
idk if i should get the tp2 cuz the back looks like a cheap prepaid phone where the huge speaker, on the unlocked one, should be
