T-Mobile Dash 3G Takes Semi-Official Limelight

The title says it all
. MobileBurn got their lucky hands on the T-Mobile Dash 3G that is set to release early July. They’ve been nice enough to snap up a couple of shots and even take a hands-on video. Luckily, it looks like the device has kept the soft, rubbery back that the original Dash had that many have come to know and love. I’m liking the looks of that optical trackball which seems to work just as well as those on the BB Curve. MyFaves built into the Sliding Panel homscreen as well having all of the custom HTC applications are nice touches to a quite well-rounded device. And with a 528 MHz Qualcomm processor compared to the aging 200MHz OMAP200 processor of the original (incidentally, this is the same in the T-Mobile Shadow) – the device should scream with performance. The video shows just as much, however, I’ll reserve judgement on that for when I can actually try the device out myself.
