Let the Hype Begin! myTouch 3G Pre-Orders to Begin in 15 Days!

Head over to t-mobilemytouch.com/register.aspx and sign up to be one of the first to know that you can pre-order the myTouch. T-Mobile has also put together a nice little site similar to the Shadow and G1 sites for the myTouch. You can also see the countdown timer as well. You can also follow T-Mobile my Touch on Twitter and add the event to your Google Calendar. If the slide-out keyboard on the G1 doesn’t float your boat then perhaps you take a liking to the keyboardless myTouch.

Enjoy!

Lots of little buttons… looks a bit ‘entry-level’ish…

It has the same amount of buttons it always had.

I was really looking forward to this phone. Meh, glad I came to my senses. Team Huawei all the way! (Or Samsung galaxy, whichever comes first with the best spec list)

I’m glad to finally see it. I won’t be getting it release day, however. I will wait for the inevitably price drop to $179, then all the whining morons complaining about the price drop because they paid $199.

I also want to play with it first.

Oh, and if I do get it, merlot for me. I want something that is obviously NOT an iPhone.

Had G1. Switched to iPhone.

I was with T-Mobile for YEARS. And prior to the rise of the modern smart phone, I was happy with their service. But now, instead of coming out with all of these phones what TMo should actually focus on is their damn 3G coverage! What’s the point of coming out with all of these 3G phones if your 3G network coverage is spotty AT BEST? It’s too bad, because I think these android phones are great, but without the network to support them, they are useless. TMo needs to get with the times, get off of Edge, and expand their coverage so they can compete with all the other providers out there.

I switched to AT&T to get an iPhone and 3G coverage. Yeah, I pay a little more with them, but I actually get service for the data plan I am paying for.

Get with it T-Mobile.

i didn’t like the g1 because of lack of installation of apps onto a sd card (you would have to root it in order to install on a sd card which i found difficult to do at times), i am awaiting the arrival of the tp2, i wanna try win mo 6.5 anyway, android is good but i am not leaving win mo just yet

Well, I will never switch to AT&T.

I live in Oklahoma City, where what is now AT&T was originally Southwestern Bell come Cingular come AT&T. When it was SBC, it was horrible, dropped calls, roaming charges in your home area, horrible sound quality.

Then it became Cingular and nothing changed but the name.

Now it’s AT&T, and still nothing has changed. And yes, people with national plans are STILL being hit with roaming charges, the calls are STILL dropping and the quality is STILL horrible.

Just look up all the stories that happened at SXSW this year. Austin is in the same SBC heritage area, and the problems experienced during the festival were the same as always.

Besides, I have always hated anything Apple, so the overpriced toy known as the iPhone won’t get me to change either.

lets see here. The announcement is giving us 15 some ought days to pre-order. why would they give up a sixteen day notice? maybe they’re going to introduce some OTHER phones to us next week and the week after, and then let us decide amongst ourselves which we should go with, G2 – TP2 – Dash2. does everyone get my drift here? you see what i am getting at?
marketing.. marketing. i think they’ll throw some more out there this/next week.
