Adobe Flash player 10 coming to a smartphone near you

In a recent audio press release, Adobe’s CEO, Shantanu Narayen stated that we will be able to get Adobe Flash player 10 on our Android and Windows Mobile smartphones in October. The only way to get Flash on your smartphone right now is to install the Hero rom on your G1.
FINALLY, I’ll be able to play “Parking lot 5″ on my cellphone!

I am just wondering how the performance is going to play out once we get this for the G1. I have Flash 9 on the Hero build and even though it’s very out of date, just viewing the few things it does work with is amazing. I went to Yahoo on the Hero browser and clicked a video link news story and it played! It was kind of choppy but it took me back to the skyfire days…

Well when it does come out I hope it looks as good as actual desktop flash video playbacks and not like the crappy quality you get when you stream on the youtube downloader for the g1….
