Of course we don’t know what the official name will be yet but rumors say the Diamond 3 is going to be the nom de plume. This will be one of the first Windows Mobile ‘Seven’ devices to hit the US. Hat’s off to T-Mobile if they follow through on this.
Some quick rumor specs:

Google Labs is working on a podcast catcher/player that is available for Android. It lets you search, subscribe, download and stream. You can subscribe to search terms and it will automatically create an ‘audio magazine’ for you that is automatically updated everytime you listen. It’s worth checking out and be found in the Android More >

There is a lot of commotion going around about the Nexus One. Who would have thought all those years ago that a search engine would be releasing their own phone? Chuong tells us it has passed through the FCC with support for T-Mobile’s 3G network and no sign of support for the AT&T bands so More >

I am finding out more and more that with tmobile and android over promise and under deliver. They have been very consistant about having none of the words fall through, again. I am amazed that companies like that, do things like this. You have to stick to what you say! This date has been changed so many times, I don’t care when the update comes. This really take away from the impact of satisfaction the customers now will receive. YOU MUST TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS, IF YOU DON’T, ANOTHER COMPANY WILL !!!

Wow I’m somehow not surprized. I’m realy conssidering going back to blackberrie atleast when they mention a new os build they deliver

Well this is what I get for dumping RIM for one of the few 3g tmo phones available simply because it was 3g. I know the reason it has been pushed back is due to the security issue discovered in the UK version (the main reason it was released there is Europe’s test-bed status). But this is a little out of hand. Manual update should have been available to users who wanted to take the plunge without waiting.
I’m not going to knock Tmo as I’ve been with them for the last 5 years, but I will finish out my contract (1yr and 4 months left) and switch to a larger 3g network. I’ve had the blackberries 7230, Pearl, 8320, 8220 flip, and I now await the 9600 (first tmo 3g blackberry). Maybe in a year or so Android will be a bit more useable, and all the rave will be worth the growing pains. But right now this seems like the Apollo space program and we’ve just discovered rocketry……….lol

Ugh, I’m really tired of waiting. They should have a link to download and install it manualy not OTA because that’s stupid. And they need to just release it and then start updateing it that would make me happy.

Is there any way to verify that ShadowFan2008 is providing an undoctored version of 1.5 Cupcake? … I did install it and it works great, but I’m just a little nervous about whether it could be sending my personal information to other places.
