Ubergizmo says that a Huawei spokesperson said that they will be releasing the third Google Android phone on T-Mobile this year. Could there be a translation issue? Since Android is an ‘open’ OS, pretty much anyone can throw it on their own handset. This rumor is a bit odd given the historical relationship T-Mobile has with HTC and HTC’s track record of quality in its handsets. The phone in question was seen at the Mobile World Congress and the design shown won’t be the exact model T-Mobile will unveil. It appears to be a Fast and Furious version of the iPhone. Time will tell if this comes to fruition.
