If you could carry the knowledge of the world in your pocket would you do it? The connection we have everyday via the internet allows for this but what about those times that you don’t have a signal like on a plane, in the woods, or a zombie apocalypse? This is where WIkiPock comes in. More >

Microsoft opened the doors to their new store here in Scottsdale, AZ today at Fashion Square Mall blending ‘high technology with high fashion’ as one speaker said. I was able to grab a press pass and sneak inside (along with hundreds of others) and see what’s happening and new. Microsoft had a wrap around projection More >

Sometimes using your voice to record a reminder is quicker and easier than typing out a note. If you don’t use the Jott service for notes than you might be glad to know that the Shadow (and other Windows Mobile phones) has a voice recorder. Using it is a lot easier than it might seem. More >

You heard right, Free as in Beer. We’ve talked about it in the past but now is as good a time as any to rehash the concept. Many of you are aware of Google Maps’ ability to triangulate your location using Cell Tower information. Many times this accuracy ranges from 500 meters to 5000 meters. More >

I love this app and it works great. My only complaint is that it is always telling me that I am roaming and then it freezes.

So after my first comment, I do get some random internet connection errors when I try to start it, but sometimes I can just close it under task manager, try it again and it goes through.
Oh well.

Ok, my third comment here, but..
I mentioned getting internet errors. They only happen if I try to connect while my phone is plugged into my computer. Unplug it, restart the app, and it works just fine. Don’t know why it does that, but it doesn’t really matter much.
I’ve been loving it.

The Windows Mobile Facebook App is great for posting photos and videos on-the-go. It’s also great for giving your contacts a phone call.
For everything else, stick with Facebook’s mobile site.
For a review that compares the app with Facebook’s own mobile web site, check out:
