2009 Shadow at CES
Engadget has a gallery of the 2009 Shadow pictures from CES. As you can see the back has some surprising gradient action going on. Personally I am digging the new shape, placement of the mini USB port and camera. As soon as ours shows up we’ll unleash the fury on it to bring you the best damn review as you would expect from us. If there is something in particular you want us to cover when we get let us know in the comments.

What Benji said. The only thing that there is to know at this point is what’s the price? With refurbed iPhones going for $99 they better price this very low. At this point its not even a $50 phone.
At $30 with a contract I think it’d be a killer deal for the younger crowd without a lot of extra $$$. Although that may even be a hard sell without 3G. Even cheap phones have 3G now.
T-Mobile, the fastest 3G network because no one can use it.

as much as i love the exterior color of this phone, i really hate the keypad color, they shouldve had more colors including the option to have the original shadow colors of sage and copper which i thought was better

so for existing T-Mobile customers, it looks like this Shadow is not even shown in the list of available devices for a phone upgrade…?

If this new shadow had 3g and a larger processor I would get it. Its the same old shadow + uma. I like the new look but I like the original colors too. I would like to see any differences in the 6.1 that comes with this and the 6.1 most of us have burned into our original shadows

my wife had a blast before i gave her my old souped up shadow and i have to say this shadow II looks alot like that crappy phone. ———— Soooo glad i got a G1…. bring on cupcake!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to have a Shadow and now I have a G1 and I just can’t understand how anybody could get even a little bit hyped up about this phone. It’s a nice phone don’t get me wrong but it just can’t compete with other phones on the market currently.

then dont compete at all, its not about competition, its about having a phone that you like
