Two Cool Shadow Camera Tricks

The Shadow has two hidden camera features that aren’t turned on by default - panorama, and burst (which does 30 shots), both of which can be switched on via some easy registry work. Thanks to phatman81 for posting the thread about this. Here’s what to do:

1. Use a registry editor to go to HKLM/Software/HTC/Camera. Here you will see a bunch of folders. The P# folders are what you need.
2. The P6 (burst) and P8 (panorama) folders are disabled by default. To enable them, go into the folder and change the “Enabled” value from 0 to 1.

And that’ll do it! Now you’ll see the options for these two in the camera app. Depending on which ROM you are running, the panorama function may not work, or it may be difficult to use because of screen orientation issues.

actually u can get the original shadow camera exe files so that the panorama tweak can work, just search it through the threads

Also you can enable the setting to take pictures for GPS POI’s by enabling P8. I know if works on 6.1 I don’t have 6 anymore so someone will have to try that. Neat feature if you like know where you are looking. Also cool if you just like to geek out like I do :)
