Rotate Your Screen for Better Web Viewing

The portrait screen on the Shadow is great for most applications, but for desktop-like internet browsing on Skyfire or looking at documents, having the ability to go landscape can really help the view.

Over in the forums, ShadowMike has put together this CAB file that will allow you to switch your screen to landscape. Just download the CAB, transfer it to your device, and run the CAB from your device.

Now, in order for the program to run, you must launch the program each time. The CAB automatically adds a new entry to your shortcut list (Start>Settings>Shortcut Key), so be sure to set it up for a long or short press for quick access.

it works really good……but is there anyway to change the buttons to change when you change the screen? maybe you could add that to a newer one

Yeah, the next cab. file should give you the ability to slide your screen sideways also ;)

this is really good but I do agree that the buttons should change when the screen rotates

hey, this make the whole shadow look great! in an update, you could set this up to automatically make the screen portrait size in text messages (hence text mode), or when you have 2 type in the browser, cause when someone gets that landscape mode goin, they gonna love it! it makes the home screen look awesome, everything loads up in landscape mode, except myFaves, and notifications (alerts, warnings, etc.) It’ll be something 2 compete with side sliding phones! Don’t 4get the key switching too!

Hey - need some help with this
When I unzip this file
I get 4 files

xml setup file
000screen
001cab
002cab

when i copy it over to the shadow
and click on the setup file it
show programing code only.

please clue me in.
would love to have landscape.

how can you change the landscape bg for incoming calls
plz HELP!!! mine is a t-mobile whit bg and i cant see the text
