Not surprisingly, the HTC-made G1 inherits a lot of the hardware from the HTC Touch Diamond and Pro. For example, they share the same 528MHz Qualcomm CPU, plus chips for Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi (b/g), and USB 2.0. The screen, of course, is quite different – it’s capacitive (meaning – the screen will feel like that of an iPhone and require a lighter tough) and has the resolution 320×480, which Windows Mobile doesn’t even support. Also different is the amount of RAM at 192MB, compared to 288MB found on the Touch Diamond and Pro.
