It may be time to consider doing more phones in the forum especially with the upcoming releases of the Diamond, Touch Pro, etc. Potentially focusing on smartphones that are available in the US through the carriers although is seems T-mobile doesn’t have much at this time to report other than the Shadow 2 non-3g. I guess the biggest challenge is to keep people’s interest in the Shadow/Shadow 2 while still reporting on other interesting phones in the market

It might be nice to have a gallery. With all of the talented graphic designers and users who want to customize their phone, an easy-to-use archive of wallpapers, icons, ringtones etc. would be sweet. I compose all of my own ringtones on my PC using royalty-free samples and sequencers, and I’d love to have a place to share them with the community.

I agree with Dave. You should start covering other phones from HTC, like the new Touch HD, Touch Pro, Touch Diamond. I am not really sure what the future for the shadow will be, but it will be hard to buy the 2nd gen shadow if there is the Touch HD or even the G1 (android). Don’t put all your eggs into one basket - diversify.

You may also want to change the look of the site, it’s gotten a bit boring, time to upgrade

I also agree on the design change. I’ve seen sites where instead of you just changing the look of the entire board, there is an option for the user themselves to select from a few different themes. I think just covering windows based smartphones instead of all smartphones would be cool idea, since they all use cabs to install apps. And the galleries of backgrouds, sounds , and themes would be cool idea as well.

The contest idea wouldn’t be bad either, make it more interesting! lol. Themes to the site would be great like Eminembgd has said.

A Development team would be great! Releasing Software and such will bring in TONS of members.

well ive been here for a while and im getting a slide tomorrow and selling my shadow, so i do think there should be a little part of the board that has to do with other phones instead of it having it all shadow based

First off, I made those shadow videos for a reason, the main reason was that so other people can use them. All the work that I put into them has gone to waste because no one knows if it. Please add on the side my videos I have made!

please add some more forums of other phones, its cool having every one making themes for Smartphones for we dont have many people doing that unlike Xda which has like a million working on Touch Screen windows Mobile which does no good to the shadow

since im not very computer smart but I would love to have all the applications and themes for my shadow. and since I always visit this site on my phone. how about fixing all the apps and downloads so that I can just download them straight to my phone?

i would enjoy the navigation links as taps on top of the page. i think we should focus on WM devices since they are them most modifiable and more interesting

I am a strong TMO Dash user because of the full Qwerty and backlit keypad. It is a workhorse and I tether to my laptop when traveling on the train or away from a WiFi Hotspot. I also use the Shadow as well and love the site. If it is a T-Mobile scentric site, I would like to see the T-Mobile/HTC Smartphones represented, including Android. Great info and please keep the great apps coming.

Well being just enough of a geek to be dangerous, finding this site when I bought my shadow was a big plus, I finally sold my iPAQ to a friend and now use the shadow for everything mobile and I very happy with it. I believe this site was a big part of helping me get the phone to work to my needs. Just want to put my 2 cents in, Im sure any change would be positive and I’ll be here to reap the rewards.

change the color theme of the website away from Default Shadow Poop Brown! I think that is the first thing everyone did to their phones!!

I just recently purchased my Shadow, that’s how I found this site. I myself have a website dedicated to gamers (just now relaunching it). All these ideas are great and all; some of them are even excellent. But, if you change too much in one site, it’s no longer the same site. I think the only thing(s) that this might need or want to change is the navigation and maybe color scheme. Other than that I wouldn’t go playing around with presence.

cover the htc dream or whatever the surname is of the android device… soon to be released… i figured all of the programmers on this site who run into problems with other phones would love to FUCK AROUND - i mean that in the best way - with this open handset with little restrictions or limititations…

cant wait to see what people come up with… i will volunteer to be a tester with the launch device

I think a slight re-vamp to the sites lay out would be neat. And maybe cover other phones. Although I think the only way that could be done neatly is to have separate sections of the site dedicated to each phone and then have another section dedicated to the WM aspect of them. That way we cover more then one phone, cover WM and most importantly keep it simple to use and organized. Just my two cents though. Love this site btw keep up the great work.

I love my shadow n discovering this website has only made my obsessionw/my fone even gr8r. but I am new 2 all d tech lingo. it would b a gud idea if there was a section explaining wut app. is, .cab , skyfire, well…in short… nEthing a non-tech savvy person would need 2 understand 2 fully tap n2 their shadow’s potential.

and just 2 add 2 d other comment… I believe this website should only b dedicated d shadow since it is called “allshadow.com.” adding info about other mobiles would only make d site more complicated.

I visit this website thru my fone so it would b advisable if there were links on d beginning as well as d end … also if d links were updated eceet once n a while…I tried 2 download feadie n all I got was jibberish

Focus more on ways to use the phone in everyday life, applications, features etc. People want more functionality out of their Shadows but dont always know what they need until somebody shows them. I think I said it last time this was raised but seriously, a little more like Lifehacker for windows mobile would be good.

Also it would be great if there was a mobile browser friendly “apps store” where all 100% working apps for the shadow could be found. Lets say I’m killing time somewhere with a wi-fi connection and want to try out a new game, it would be great to have the shop in my bookmarks so I could grab it right there without slow searching.

I think that if theres a mobile format for the home page, that there should be a mobile format for the forums as well, that would definitely make browsing Allshadow on PIE or Opera Mini easier.

There is a Mobile Forum that is view only and very basic. We are working to bring a better mobile forum.

I think covering all HTC smartphones would be nice. Keep the site shadow centered but branch out since alot of the apps and hacks for the shadow could work on other htc wmo devices, just a thought.
