Poll Follow Up: Your Next Phone?
About three months ago, we posted a poll asking what your next phone will be. The answers were varied widely and there wasn’t any unanimous choice.
Well, now that we’re on the cusp of many new phone releases, and we want to ask the question again: for your next phone, what are you thinking? Of course, there is still a lot we don’t know - like what carrier is getting what, but we have a good idea at least of the phones that we will have to choose from.

i voted no clue/other, i am stuck in whether choosing between the htc touch diamond and the htc dream (android)

my debate was between the dream and the touch pro. after alot of reading and thinking, i decided to go with the pro. if the dream looked better, i might go with that, but its super ugly. the touch pro is beautiful

I’m probably going to stay with my Shadow for a while.
so first of all im gonna assume that the shadow 2 isn’t 3g, and second of all im gonna assume that the htc dream android is 3g, and that the dream android is a t-mo product. please correct me if im wrong. im due for an upgrade soon.
and also how much the dream android is gonna/does cost about?

I still don’t know! The dream would be cool for sure, but that’s the only phone I’m sorta eyeing. No Iphone. ever.

shadow II is such a huge dissapointment - no 3g no gps no real upgrades other than a slightly faster cpu. HTC and t-mo really dropped the ball on this second version. I am thinking of getting the dream but im a little weiry of the google os we all know that new operating systems are often buggy. Touch Pro/Diamond are far to expensive but very nice pda’s. Not sure exactly where I’m going to go yet. I’ll wait for user reviews.

I’ll get the Xperia X1 if it works on T-Mo.

If money was no object I would opt for the HTC X9501 Shift. Since money is not abundant for me then I will keep my shadow until my contract is up and then upgrade.

@fer: I hadn’t looked at the Omnia before your comment. That is a sweet phone. I’ll keep my eyes open for a US carrier, looking for a descent priced plan. I doubt the Xperia X1 will be a T-Mo phone, but we can always “dream.”

Whatever I get will have to have 3g and gps. I won’t upgrade just because I can. I also think I’ll probably stick with Windows.
I’m vote Shadow II hahaha
