Who Wants a Different Way to the Web?

If you haven’t heard of it, Zumobi is a widget interface to web content for Windows Mobile. The main interface is a set of tiles that you can customize from a growing selection of content providers. Through the desktop browser interface you can easily create a tile of your own like a feed for AllShadow.com! Tiles currently available range from Facebook and Weather to Celebrity News and Games. It’s free so it doesn’t hurt too much to sign up. After you go through the initial setup you will be able to send tiles to your phone from the desktop browser OTA and soon you will be able to send to a friend.

To setup a tile for AllShadow.com, sign into Zumobi on your desktop PC > click on ‘Gallery’ at the top > then ‘Create New Tiles’ on the right > Click on ‘Create New Tile’ (yes, again) > Name your tile ‘AllShadow.com’ or ‘The Best Website Ever!!!’ and enter http://www.feeds.feedburner.com/allshadow for the RSS feed URL. You can choose a skin if you want but be sure to click on ‘Save and Send to My Phone.’ The next time you load up Zumobi on your Shadow, navigate to the Zumobi Inbox and ‘Add’ the tile. Enjoy!

horrible app. it’s slow. tried it on my shadow, was even worse on the blackberry pearl. nothing more than a complicted rss reader.

Can’t have steak every day! I try not to recommend stuff that doesn’t work. If it works like it says it does then it’ll probably get a recommendation, even if it is slow. Someone might appreciate it.

Hey Mike (or anyone else) ,
What would be the best way to assign my favorite online radio stations (from Mobile Stream Center) , that you could click (from a menu) ? Do you think that Zumobi would do it, or can the “Neo” interface be setup to work, or is there a better way?
