This should have been posted a long time ago but for some reason I just didn’t see that this was the reason it worked. Hi Aaron, Jeff, I’m looking into a couple right now, they’re very tricky and buggy and I’ll post about them when I can get them to work right. So far the best looking one has a very involved setup for Windows Mobile. Stay tuned!

Take a look at GPS TUNER. http://www.gpstuner.com I think it runs on Windows Mobile Standard and it will let you download google maps on your desktop, save them to your windows mobile, and then you don’t need data while traveling to get the maps. Or you can use it w/o maps and data.
