HotSpot Login Utility Update

T-Mobile has released an update to the HotSpot login utility. This is important to have if you login at Starbucks locations using the HotSpot service.

You will need to restart your device after installation.

Note:
As far as I can tell these updates haven’t been rolled into the Shadow Upgrade Software posted several months ago. So if you perform a Hard Reset you will have to reinstall this.

sjsmr2,

It is an update to the HotSpot login utility used for T-Mobile hotspots, this specifically addresses Starbucks hotspots. So if you don’t use them, don’t worry about it

I use them all the time when I am on the road. This is why I am curious. It does not look like it did anything.

It’s an under the hood update. It changed some settings used when logging in. You shouldn’t be able to notice anything except a version change.
