Connect Your Shadow to Your Car Stereo

Posted by Mike Benton on May 27th, 2008

I get a lot of emails asking about about an adapter to allow members of the Shadow Community to connect their Shadows to car auxiliary input jacks and home stereos. Most of the time I point them towards the above pictured adapter. There are many versions out there but the concept is the same. We sell a few in our store, some adapters sell for $5.95. Right now, there is a deal on an adapter at Amazon for $5.00

This is great!, I bought one from this site that has a built in mic on it so i can also take phone calls while my phone is plugged in to the aux. jack. It works kind of like a poor mans blue tooth for your car. You talk into the mic and you hear the person through your car speakers. Mainly bought it so I can play mp3’s in may car, though. Also, was very pleased with the service from the online store, first adpater I ordered was defective and they sent a new one with no problem and it was here the next day!

i use mine in the car. i bought it from the all shadow store.

i use it in conjunction with the 2 in 1 cable htc gave us in the box. so i can plug it into my car sterio and charge it with my car charger at the same time.

music and sound is crystal clear

I use my shadow with one of those cassette to headphone jack deals, so I’ve got that wire going to converter going to to the 2 in 1 plug thing which is also connected to the cigarette lighter… Makes for a messy wire pile but its a good fit for me. Anyone thinking of doing this in their car should look at the right angle cord ends, its a real tight fit to get both things plugged in the 2 in 1.

i just thought i would throw it out there but i had just got a mustang and i went out and bought a new radio and to my surprise i found quite a few radios that actually had usb inputs… I end up buying one with a usb input and iv loved it… iv had to use wmstorage thing so it changes the storage card into a flash drive but it also charges my phone at the same time. so i only need 1 cable.
