If you like to stay up to date with out all that web browsing and entering in one URL after another then you need a RSS reader. Viigo comes as a free download and supports all types of RSS feeds. You can subscribe to event updates, sports, news, local weather, horoscopes and of course your favorite AllShadow.com feed as well. This is great for people on the go or when you’re waiting in line at the store or your local venue. See below for more screenshots.
You can download Viigo from www.viigo.com

I use Viigo, but it does not support “all types of RSS feeds” as it won’t download podcasts. I wish it did.

I have used Viigo for a while but had to stop utilizing the allshadow.com RSS feed since it would cause Viigo to freeze up every time. My biggest complaint about Viigo is if it does freeze when it restarts it loses any unsaved information and starts from the last time it was closed.
I’ve recently decided to try NewsBreak, handango has a sale for 25% off its software which puts NewsBreak at 14.99.
It’s an upgrade over Viigo, but it also requires more than a free download so Viigo wins in that regards.

Yes Steve, you are correct. Next up, we will try to find a good RSS +podcast feed reader.
Michael, I’ve noticed that. But it just slowed down for me. What other programs do you have running at the same time?

Viigo is awesome. This really is a great way to get your daily fix of all sorts of info. I already had a bunch of pages bookmarked on IE and Opera 4 but this is much easier and faster. If you Browse the web all day looking for random bits of news like i do download this app.

Mike, FYI, we’ve just released a new Windows Mobile version of Viigo with a bunch of important enhancements, including better support for a wider variety of devices (touch devices for e.g.), bug fixes and performance improvements, in addition to new features such as FavIcons, Notifications, etc.
The screen shots above are taken from the prior version.
You can get the new version from the main Viigo web site at Viigo(dot)Com or from the Microsoft Windows Mobile Owners Circle (where it is currently the featured application).
