I’m not talking about the Bluetooh Stereo Headphones, I’m talking a normal BT headset. acbPocketSoft has a great utility that will pipe all the system sound to your headset/earpiece. The great thing about this is you can finally listen to some music through that bug in your ear in case your forget your headphones or don’t enjoy the speaker.
The great news is that it just works. Bad news is that it will eat up your battery on both your Shadow and headset, so if you aren’t listening to music turn it off.
Install acbToggleBT and to turn it on just simply select it from Start > acbToggleBT and it will activate with no further annoyances, to turn it off simply select it again. It’s that easy. Be careful with that battery life though

As if the battery life wasn’t bad enough…

Sounds like an answer to the GPS only through the Shadow headset issue. Garmin didn’t like the quality of sound through the BT bugs, so turned that feature off. I’d rather make up my own mind, so may try this abc solution. The question is how long will the batteries last on both the BT and Shadow if I’m on a trip? I normally ride (motorcycle) up to 9 hours a day when on the road. I suppose I could mount a cigarette lighter outlet in my saddlebag to charge the Shadow while on the road, though. Any further thoughts or ideas?
