The MyFaves application is great, from one location you can communicate effortlessly with your favorite five people without having to navigate through endless menus. In less than a minute you can send a picture to one person, a voice message to another and a video to the next. In honor of efficiency, we present an overview of MyFaves on the Shadow along with some tips and tricks to make life even easier.
If you have MyFaves, you should see the familiar five circles on your home screen. Selecting any of these will bring up an additional menu.
You should see either of these two screens once you select a contact. If you want to switch from the list screen to the circle screen or vice versa, follow the next step.
Press the right soft key for Options and select number 5 ‘MyFaves Settings’. On the Next screen Select 2 Menu style:
This screen will allow you to switch between the two styles
If you want to have your MyFaves minimize on the home screen you can change that setting with ‘1 Display’, if you minimize you will get this next screen telling you how to expand and contract the MyFaves view. When expand from being minimized, MyFaves does a neat little circle dance, go ahead and try it!
From a Fave’s screen you can choose between several options quickly.
If you have setup the included instant messengers with your profiles, and your Faves have their IM information in their contact data then you can quickly begin chatting from this screen.
If you want to share a picture you get the choice of taking one now, selecting one from your device or even sharing an icon. If you have the habit of doing this frequently I suggest you get the messaging bundle or it will rack up your bill.
The same goes for video, I also suggest a messaging bundle for this as well.
Sharing a voice note is handy for delivering some short information without placing a call, for example, directions that they might need to reference later. Again, get a messaging bundle.
The left soft key will bring up the Activity Log which shows how haven’t you have called, been called or missed calls as well as messages. This great for people that love evidence.
The circle style menu has the same options. Here are snapshots of each.
Do you like the MyFaves application? Is there anything you would change about it if you could?

Hey i have had some problems with my myfaves. One night I turned off my phone, my myfaves were working fine then. The next day I turned my phone back on and my myfaves were gone. I went to the start menu and they were gone there too. I have had them refreshed many times and still don’t come back. T-Mobile cant seem to help so if any of you know please help.

dom, you probably messed around with your T-zones settings or some other WAP settings, cuz that’s how T-mobile keeps your MyFaves application current and updated.
