Since the forum isn’t yet on, I was wondering if there are any good websites that just have lists of downloadable apps for WM6 Standard. I’ve been searching and I haven’t found many reliable-looking sites.

Hi Rob54,
http://software.pocketnow.com has great deals and you can tailor the searches to the Shadow.
If you want to check out some freewares, pocketpcfreewares.com and freecabs.de are both mobile friendly sites as well. the first site you can perform searches in and the second is more of a list. Both are great references to find a hard to find application.

Hi Dennis,
Sure thing, I’ll put it on my todo list. Look for different themes post soon.
What kind of games were you looking for?

Thanks Mike! I have to ask… on http://software.pocketnow.com, none of the free applications have the T-Mobile Shadow(or HTC) under their compatible list. Should I assume that since an application is compatible with the Dash, then it would work with the Shadow?

My friend saw the Shadow and thought it was awesome and was gonna get it, but he has a Mac. I’ve heard there is a free software for syncing WM6 with a Mac but I can’t find it. Does anybody know where to get that software?

which instant messenger uses texts? I usually use wifi so I don’t have a data plan just unlimited text. Is is AIM?

Rob54: if you use the IM forwarding option on AIM, that is texts. I’m sure you’ve had someone send you an IM from AIM before and it came through as a text message. It’s not technically IM, but it’s close.

If you want a fast way to check flight status WITHOUT a WiFi connection…
Send a text message to 46645.
In the body of the text message type the 2 letter code for the airline, then the flight number.
Try it now. Enter aa (thats american airlines) then a space, then 1 (that is for flight #1).
So enter: aa 1
Then press SEND. See how fast you get the info returned to you.
