How to Watch Online Video

Dennis asked if there was a way to watch online videos on the T-Mobile Shadow. Windows Mobile doesn’t include the native ability to watch online video however there is a method for enabling a near seamless method of watching video on the T-Mobile Shadow. We’re not talking just Youtube, there is also Google Video, Veoh, Daily Motion and many more. Now you can one up your iPhone friends…again
What you need:
- TCPMP for Smartphones 0.72RC1 <–Shadow Users (Pocket PC users need this one)
- Skunkworks FlashVideoBundle
- Wifi connection for better viewing
Once you have downloaded and transferred these files to your phone. Install them using file manager. Be sure you install both files to the same place (either Device OR Storage Card), they need to be in the same place to work correctly. Be sure you install the right one for your device.
From the home screen, click the Start button and scroll down the programs list. You will see the ‘TCPMP’ as well as an Internet Explorer icon called ‘Video Sites’, go ahead and select that to get a good list of various sites. Use the ‘Video Sites’ link
***Warning: The default Video Sites file contains links to video sites that contain adult content, to change this simply go to the folder Device > Program Files > TCPMP and delete the folder ’sites’. Next rename the folder ’sites.clean’ to ’sites’***
Note: TCPMP original site has been down for sometime, you can still get other versions of TCPMP here.

my t-mobile shadow will not upload any thing it keeps saying this device doesn’t support this??? is any one else having this problem? what can I do? help someone please

Hey,
Is this supposed to work on the T Mobile Dash?? I tried to install it but it’s telling me “There is no application associated with “00000amr”. Run the application first and then open this file inside the application”..
Can anyone help??? It would be greatly appreciated..

I’m a dummy when it comes to this kind of stuff. I’ve been trying to instill the to programs from allshadows.com so I can watch videos on my shadow but I can’t instill it from my computer to my shadow. PLEASE HELP!

I installed both of your files on my device (not the storage card) the TCPMP player’s icon show up in the start menu and the player works fine, howerver the video sites link doesn’t show up for some reason, so im wondering how to fix that, any ideas ?

Hey everybody I have a question. Do you have to download it from your computer to install it or do you have to get it directly from the phone? And is there a way to get rid of it like to uninstalling it or something that would be great! Thanks!

Does the TCMP and the flashvideobundle work on the Shadow 2009? I have install it and it doesn’t work, there a new/updated version on the TCMP to insall in the Shadow 2009? Please let me know. I that this on my old Shadow, and it was great.

so ya.. pretty much i downloaded the software.. installed it onto my shadow and it wont let me watch any videos.. even on youtube.. it keeps saying “URL not found” any advice?! also.. i’ve tried the links on the other sites such as veoh and wat not.. and all it does when i click on a video is it just says that i need to download flash media player to view the video.. please help!!

Hey , when i click on video sites , it prompted me to send the crash.txt file to the developers.
Exact error
” Unexpected program failure. Please send “crash.txt” to the developers . Program will now exit. ”
My phone is a SE Xperia X1 running on Windows Mobile.
